Join us on April 25 and 27 for Livin' In Color! Livin' In Color is a student-created theater piece celebrating what it means to be a young person of color in our world today. Using hip-hop theatre, improvisation, dance, non-verbal storytelling, slam poetry, and more, the students have devised an original performance to uplift the many voices of the BIPOC community in Omaha, Nebraska. Our final show of the 2024-25 season will be Disney / Pixar's FINDING NEMO TYA. FINDING NEMO is a vibrant, puppetry filled, musical adaptation of the beloved 2003 Pixar movie Finding Nemo. This show features spectacular songs from the creators of Frozen and Coco. Marlin, an anxious and over-protective clownfish, lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his kid Nemo, who longs to explore the world beyond their anemone home. But when Nemo is captured and taken to Sydney, Marlin faces his fears and sets off on an epic adventure across the ocean. With the help of lovable characters such as optimistic Dory, laid-back sea turtle Crush, and the supportive Tank Gang, Marlin and Nemo both overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves. See Jeff Kinney’s popular character take center stage as Greg’s cartoon diary (or is it a journal?) becomes a hilarious and heartfelt musical. School can be tough. Really tough. Being the middle child can be even tougher. As Greg embarks on a quest to become popular, we meet quirky classmates Patty, Chirag, and Fregley, among many others. Standing beside him through all of this is Greg’s best friend Rowley. Will Greg’s plans to become popular lead him to sacrifice his one true friend? Can anyone avoid the dreaded Cheese Touch?
